Its very important that you think about why is it now that you like her ?? if you have known her for a couple of years and not liked her then you may just be rebounding :/ so best to wait until you are sure :)

I'm not one of those guys that when you see another girl you like, you dump the one you're with and jump to the next one, and I hate people who do that.

But I was dating this girl, and it was okay an everything, and met another girl who was just amazing. But I was already in a relationship so we were just friends. It was awkward because we really liked each other.

When my relationship came to a sudden end I called her up and we hung out and it just took off from there. If you've liked her all this time, then I say go for it.
