nope all I got is my Mom. my Father wasn't happy about my conception let alone the fact that I'm alive.

I live with my mom. I barely know my dad -- I don't remember a time when we all lived together. I've only seen him a couple of times. He moves a lot.

My father died when I was young. Shot himself. My mom remarried to someone else and divorced against later. But I still see him. He's pretty cool. My mom though is never around. Ever. And when she's here she's like a stranger.

Difficult question for me to answer. First 4 years of my life I had both. Then they broke up and I spent 9 years with my mother and had no father. I can’t stand the abuse of my stepfather anymore though, that’s why I moved to my father. No I have no mother for 2 years.

Just mum, last time I properly saw my dad I was about 6. He was meant to take us shopping one day just before Christmas that year but never showed up, and the only time I saw him after that was by chance in a pub when I was about 10, I blanked him and haven't seen him since then so idk if he's even alive or dead. And whether this sounds cold or not, I really don't care.

I kinda have both parents plus one though, I live with foster parents but see my mum multiple times a week :p

I have both but I live with my dad for three weeks and mum one week a month. I want to try and live with my dad more though, I'd much rather stay in one place because after 7 years of barely having a stable home I'm fed up of having to pack my bags.

I have my mom, but Dad lives a state away because they're divorced. I'm on good terms with my dad.

I luckily have both parents, though they're divorced. For my sake, they live within walking distance of each other.

I have my Daddy. I don't have my mom. I thought I had her for a while, but she didn't really love me. Now, we don't speak.

Ironically, I'm in the same exact situation....as of now, I (and I quote) '...ain't never gotta worry about my mom calling me ever again'. But I don't even care because I still have Daddy

I've had both, I've had one, I've had neither, now I sorta have both but one doesn't really care... I've kinda been in just about every situation but it's beginning to work itself out. My parents have come to terms with the fact I'm an adult and I'll set the relationships I want to have with them.

No. Did have both up until eight or so months ago when my parents divorced. My mom is basically absent from my life. My dad, however, is usually always there for me. Meh.

I have both of my parents. However it feels as if I only have a mom. My parents have never been on equal terms. So all my dad does is just stay in his room and watch sports. He has never abused us to any extent, he just seems to not care about us though.

I have my mom, and siblings. My parents have been divorced for almost four years. My dad cancelled visitation, and then moved with out telling us where he was going, and then, to top it off, he told his siblings and parents not to tell us where he went. I haven't seen him in three years. Fine by me!

Neither. Mom is dead, Dad is in jail or out on bail but he won't be my legal guardian anymore.

My mother was raped, so of course I have no father. Although, my mother has never really mentally been my mother.. and she's close to dying, and hasn't married yet..

Just my mom, my mom had me when she was a senior in high school and dad kinda took off. I've never met my dad and end up not seeing mom for days at a time. I was recently told I may not be able to live with her anymore, I have no idea which road I'm going down.

Hi Guys, my name is Genevieve and almost two years ago my dad died. He drowned saving two boys struggling in Lake Michigan. Since then, I’ve been trying to start up this website called SLAP’D, which stands for “Surviving Life After A Parent Dies.” It’s basically an online community for teens who have lost a parent. We are close to launching it, but it would be so awesome if anyone would check it out and play around with it… I’d love to hear what you think!

So if you have a chance, would you please do that for me? Here’s the link >>>> www.slapd.com

I have my Dad and brothers. Parents divorced 5 years ago and mom is working on the East Coast. We see her a few times a year.

They're both alive and I see them both face-to-face, but they're divorced and I primarily live with my dad.
My mom still acts like she's part of the family though - she'll come over and visit at least once per week, go out to dinner with us on special occasions, and sometimes go on family trips. It's like our family is almost normalized again, with of course the exception of my parents not being in love any more.
