They are very against me growing my hair and pretty much argue with me every week about this. I keep asking why not but they have no good reason other than they just don't like the way I look. I try to talk it over but when nothing I say goes without a rebuttal, it's a little difficult. The worst part is, they bring my authoritarian brother who doesn't even live with us to try and force me into getting a haircut. Being the discipline loving person that he is, he won't let this go until he gets a chance to get mad at me the next time I call him, and take my word for it when I say that I will have to sooner or later. What do I have to do to get them to let me have MY hair the way I feel comfortable and happy?

Thanks in advance.

Tell them it makes you happy. I mean, parents shouldn't have a say in every single thing. If you want your hair that way, tell them that you aren't gonna change it. I mean, what's the big deal with them making you cut your hair? Some things are the child's choice and it should stay that way.

Keep growing it. If they don't get it, then whatever.

I'd keep growing it, even if they do make you cut it you can always grow it out again. Just tell them why you want to grow out your hair. Pretty much the same situation I had with the way I dress, my mom would say I look like some "crazy girl" and that she doesn't want me to wear my "diabolic" band shirts, but I just told her why I like dressing the way I do, and that she should know I'm not the "crazy girl" I tend to look like because she knows the real me, and after explaining that she stopped telling me that I shouldn't dress the way I should.

Wonder.

Just keep growing it. When they say something about it, ignore them. They can't force you to cut your hair. If they get really annoying to the point where you want to karate chop them in the throat, find a polite way of telling them to fuck off.
