Question about the boards and placement

I come from a different blogging site and their rules are very different.
There used to be a subforum called Off Topic Discussions. Here anything off topic belonged.

I was wondering where to put a chatroom for my friends and I to chat in.

Where would I place that thread in?

I don't believe you can do that. We don't allow advertising of other sites here. If it's an actual website with a chatroom, you can link it in your signature. I'm don't believe you can link directly to a chatroom in your signature though, however I could be wrong.

So I guess to answer your question: The White Padded Room (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) is where off topic discussions belong, however you can't advertise other sites on the forums - only in your signature, as long as it doesn't violate VT rules.

Ohhhh, my bad, haha.

Well, the site already has a chatroom (here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/addonchat.php)). If you wanted to chat with friends alone, you can leave a visitor message on their profile/when you have 100 posts, you can private message them.
