Hey just wondering, what color vest you think will match with this dress? Btw she said don't get any bright yellow or goldenrod

Well, you could go with pale gold, like the color of the dress. Or dark red would look nice, and you could get her a red corsage to match. I think the red would look better, it'd be easier to get flowers to match, and it's be a nice pop of color.

It might be a little boring, but white works with pretty much any color.

I wouldn't go with silver. If you date is wearing a gold dress, she's most likely wearing gold jewelry and shoes (if they're not black or colored.) Silver will look out of place with all that gold.

I'd say something off-white. Like, ever-so-slightly creamy. White would just look a bit bland but off-white would look nice with the gold and match subtly.
