It is called FOOTBALL, because you constantly kick a ball... with your foot, why can't people get the name right? And I used to play quite competitive football in the lower leagues of a Colombian club.

Correct name.
Anyway, just at chilled out level, with plenty of fouling etc
For fun, nothing else, and then suddenly chicks appear, and join in

Oh Jesus, I gotta tell the story, now do I?
See, as we know, Soccer (a play on words for assoc, the shortened form of Association Football, the technical name of it.) the name for it in the U.S and Canada and frequently in Australasia. Football generally everywhere else. But which one came first? Well, one knows for sure, but they came about the exact same time during Victorian Britain (which means there both British inventions) for different social classes. The Upper class called it Soccer and the middle to lower classes called it Football. A lot of upperclass moved to U.S and Canada as well as Australasia so that's generally why it is called Soccer there (also to not confuse with American/Canadian/Australian Football, which are all gridiron sports invented from rugby, which was invented from assoc.) and the others that mostly stayed in Britain just called it Football.
So technically, there both right. So quit whining about it.
But anyways, yes! been doing it for 4 years. Doing conditioning today, Last time we ran 15 laps around the pitch, 5 of which was forced sprints in 89 F weather. UGH!

Please stop going off topic and arguing the name of the sport, it doesn't really matter :P
I play football casually because I'm not really good enough for club level
