letter-do it or not?

For the last few days/weeks I've been think about writing a letter to someone I care a lot about. It wouldnt be the first time it'd actually be like the fourth or fifth, but I always feel like writing things in a letter shows you care more than a Facebook message and we live a few states apart so I cant say it in person. I want to do this so much but I know we both have our personal stuff to worry about and I don't want to put more on her shoulders. We haven't talked talked in months and I just really want to know where we stand but I feel like asking this and whatever else goes in this letter to make her have more on her mind.

But I don't know if I should write it or not, should I?
