I'm 13, have a happy trail, should I shave it?

In a few weeks my school is going on a field trip, and there is a swimming pool. I was thinking that since I'm a bit more on the chubby side, and since I have a semi-thick, dark happy trail, it would be quite repulsive for girls of that age. So should I shave it or not?

I'm quite chubby too. I like my happy trail. Also if you're away for more than a few days, it will grow back.
