I'm a dude and just turned 13. I'm best friends with a dude who lives in the house next to mine. We've been best buds since we were 5 and our birthdays are only 3 days apart. We're like brothers everyone says and some call us "the twins" as a joke cause we kinda look alike. Since we were little we took baths and bunked together (each have a big bed). We always see each other getting dressed for school and after swimming and sometimes we still catch a shower together. We are both starting puberty and things are starting feeling a little awkward for me. I'm starting to get erections a lot and so is he. And I get kind of excited seeing him like that lately. I started masturbating and "ejaculating" a few months ago. And the other night I woke up and could tell my friend was masturbating, but I pretended to be asleep. Yeah, you have to get used to get some new feelings now that you entered puberty.
You don't have to tell him "hey, let's stay naked..." but something like "I'm curious, how it might be.." You know what I mean?

We've actually compared sizes recently since we're both growing down there and like with just about everything else we are exactly the same. I'm sorry but I have to disagree with this. Knowing your sexual orientation comes with time. You try stuff, experiment, and figure out what you like and don't like, but its not this easy decision you make in 5 minutes. Something like that takes time. You're just curious right now and thats all you should be. You should explore your feelings for your friend, maybe experiment with him a little bit, but definitely don't be afraid to talk to him. If your as close as you made it sound, talking about sex and masturbation with him shouldn't make it awkward, it should make you feel closer.
