View Full Version : Teachers are such bitches

teachers can be such bitches sometimes. I got yelled at today for asking permission to use the restroom after testing. He would not let me and then after testing was over, he called me a liar, saying that I did not actually need to use the restroom since I was not hurrying out the door as he would have expected. Jerk. He is such a jerk. Honestly, he hasn't been nice since I first met him and now I have him for testing and he's such a jerk. He makes me so freakin mad. I can't stand him so much. I just wish he would stop teaching. If he's in such a bad mood, then he should talk to someone about his issues instead of taking it out on people, because it can hurt others as well and some people may not know that what he's going through.

I told my friends and only a couple of people listened. some were still smiling and saying hi to me even though they knew I was in a funk. People are nothing but a bunch of gloaters.

Some teachers are good, some aren't, its just how they are, but if you had to go that badly, I would have just ran out anyway, pretending like you had to throw up or something or be like it was an emergency.

Be the bigger person and let it go. Some people are just difficult for no reason.

he's like obviously you didn't need to use the restroom. if you did, you would have been crying by now. i wanted to talk to him about it this afternoon, but he wasn't there. he had the lights on though, but he wasn't there. I knocked on his door a couple of times, and nobody came. I really wanted to have that talk with him. He just accused me of lying to him.

oh, you don't know this guy. Earlier yesterday, some girl walked out to throw a scrap of paper out and he got mad. He was like there's a trashcan right inside. He also told some girl not to get offended in a slightly angry tone when she corrected him about his mispronunciation of her name. honestly, man, how can i deal with jerks like these? well luckily i'm not the only one who has ever had to work with difficult people. I hope I'm lucky enough to not have to encounter such jerks.

First off, if the trash was in the room she should've tossed it in there. That isn't him being rude/mean, it's a legitimate reason to get angry with a student.

Secondly, you're hating a teacher for doing his job. Maybe he isn't the nicest guy, but from what you've said I'm thinking you aren't so nice yourself. If you don't like him that's fine, but that doesn't mean you need to make him out to be the worst thing in the world. You try dealing with 60+ kids a day minimal that think they shouldn't respect you - I've tutored before and dealt with a bunch of younger kids, they're assholes that think teachers are just to be a nuisance. Please, don't call him names like that.

I find this statement to be just as much bs as the rest of what I've read.. Age has nothing to do with it. Every teacher I've had is nice - I question the way they teach at times, but they're the friendliest people I've ever met. Chances are if they "don't care", they rushed into the career and put all that time and effort into it and it isn't want they wanted to do. Would you be happy working a job that isn't a passion of yours for 20+ years?

I disagree

Elaborate please. This is a matter of opinion, so nothing you say will be wrong, really. I'm curious as to how you can call me wrong though when you seem to have no knowledge of a teacher and the work they do.

You need to let it go. He is doing his job. I mean, teachers shouldn't allow students to use the restroom a lot. You can do it between classes unless it is an emergency. He is trying to prevent unnecessary loss of education.

i never said we had to use it a lot, just on occasion. I mean, what if someone was having a stomachache? What are you going to do? Keep him/her in there.

Besides, I have seen a couple of kids today asking permission to use the restroom and guess what he did! He let them! The majority of them had to go but I wasn't allowed to. You see how different he treats me.

Nothing annoys me more than stuck up twats like you making teacher's job even harder, they work flat out for 12 hours. My dad leaves for work at 7 and get back at 7, eats and then he does marking and planning. The teachers job is to try and get you to learn, not to try and discipline you. Do you really think they want to spend there day dealing with arrogant kids who think they are the best thing since sliced bread. The teacher probably has an issue with you because you make there job so bloody hard. Have some respect for the people trying to help you advance in life.

who says i'm being arrogant? Am I? Well, you know what, I have paid him his utmost respect, from the day we started testing to today. So far, it's been going a little bit better. I am not being arrogant in any way. you are just misinterpreting everything.

seriously i thought i would be getting more sympathy from you instead of you trying to scold me for being arrogant. Did I carry myself arrogantly towards him? Absolutely not.
If anything, he's the one who should be sorry, not me.

Our teachers work 6 hours a day , not 12 . Plus they get a 1 hour conference period, where they get to take a break from all their work.

Cordell I used to have a teacher that worked there for 25 years and he still cared about us just like any other teacher. Just because they've worked a long time doesn't mean they've always dealt with "aholes" or that they've stopped caring about their students. Some people just aren't fit to be teachers.

How is asking to go to the washroom making the teacher's job harder?

It's the whole attitude towards teachers that I hate, when you have jumped up pricks who think they can do a better job, your in a classroom to work, not to piss. How would you feel if the teacher was getting up to toilet during the lesson. I'm sure he spend at least 30 minutes planning that lesson, teachers do a very hard job.... Disciplining students is not there job

Me and my mom have always said that teachers where bullied at school so they have come back to give kids shit for "revenge"!

That is the most ridiculous thing anyone's ever posted. Teachers are human too, and if they needed to use the toilet during a lesson, I don't see anything wrong with that. Maybe you should chill.

No it's not, I've never once seen a teacher get up and leave the lesson. They have a legal responsibility over both the students and the class, if they left to go to the toilet and something happened they could get sued.

dude you guys are in the uk, we're in the u.s. our teachers work fewer hours than yours and they work for 5 periods and then take a break from it all and then resume. Well some of us need to use the restroom because we are all humans and besides there's nothing wrong with that. I usually wait until the end of a lesson to use it.

i absolutey agree. some teachers hardly plan their lessons and they just find clips from the internet to explain to their students. like some of our science teacher. the science department used to be filled with teachers who can't teach at all. some mumble their way through their lessons and some just expect their students to learn on their own. some put more effort into it because they enjoy seeing their students succeed. some just don't give a darn. i hate those teachers who don't give a darn about our education and expect to get paid and stay longer than they should. they should remove soem teachers who are not fit for the job. They should also assess everyone's teaching methods and eliminate the teachers who are not doing so well. We don't need them.

so you're calling me arrogant? Well i'm not arrogant okay. i merely asked permission to use the restroom, when everybody else had leisure time. so I don't see how using the restroom during this time can affect the teacher's attitude toward my performance. Plus it's not like I constantly use it. Just when I need to. Plus I'm not one of those kids who appear to be cool. Dude, we're in high school, not elementary.
