I think the idea of being a Christian is, you put God first, others next, and then your fleshly needs last. The Bible says that if you feel hatred towards someone is as bad a sin as if you murdered them. How many times have we been guilty of hating someone over something? But what the focus is, is the practice of sin. Like a doctor practices medicine. Like a particular sin is your full time occupation. I suppose if someone is masturbating to the exclusion of all else, then I suppose that would make it a sin.
