"I look outside and see concrete, streetlights and motor vehicles. An agglomeration of science, technology; human enterprise – progenitors of deeply ingrained cultural heritage. We are becoming centripetal; moving towards a shared centre of homogenous identity. A full moon shines tonight, yet its light is extirpated by the golden glow of streetlights – an abatement of natural order. The last few centuries have established perfunctory as sybaritic; where human progress has espoused luxuries and health, its traction has brought a most salient feature. Our human desires fulfilled and identity amalgamated; unremittingly developed, we have left abandoned our nature. Western society, its anthropoid development wondrous, industrialises and builds on cities where there was once so much more. To denigrate my foundations would be cant, to appreciate our shortcomings would be wise."

A very nicely written paragraph. I have nothing to say currently, but I would like to see what everyone else thinks.

well, i find it rather sad how much natural landscape has been destroyed. and the idea that they are still doing it is even worse.
there are people that live in jungles, i think we can handle leaving a few trees in big cities.
china has the right idea now, where people are legally inclined to plant so many trees each year.
