Since I was 4 to 10 I have been taking ridilan, and then I stoped 4 years ago. My friends told me that I have super crazy thoughts, and they also asked if it's because I'm not on medication. Do you think thats the case?

A recent study showed that ADHD medication was no more effective than counseling therapy in the long term.

This is not accurate. True ADHD is biologically caused. You cannot 'work out' biological issues (ADHD) with talk therapy in much the same way that you cannot treat epilepsy with talk therapy.
Psychotherapy combined with Ritalin is the most effective treatment, the meds target the symptoms, while the therapy teaches more appropriate ways of interacting, something that doesn't happen too well while the person is inattentive.
Unfortunately, ADHD is probably the most over diagnosed (and incorrectly diagnosed) condition out there, the actual figure being about 5-10% of the population. For comparison, schizophrenia affects about 3% of the population, the numbers are fairly close. How often do you see schizophrenics?
Specialized meds are only effective if they are prescribed to people who actually have the condition for which the meds are designed for. So, the stat you're describing (that psychotherapy is about as effective as Ritalin), probably confirms the overdiagnosis of ADHD. There are many things that can cause inattentiveness, only one is true ADHD. Think of it this way, you can have a sniffle and it doesn't mean you have pnemonia.
OK. So much for the psychopharmacology lesson. If you have a history of being treated with Ritalin then you must also have a history of, um, 'problems'. If your friends are saying that you have 'Super crazy thoughts', you'd do well to try to control them, regardless if it's related to the reasons you were taking Ritalin or not. If you cannot control these 'Super crazy thoughts' then you might tell your folks and get back to the doctor who can assess and treat them.

I'm well aware of all that. I read somewhere that the over diagnosis was caused by the large amount of sugar in the typical diet, which is impossible to tell apart from ADHD, thus rendering the drugs ineffective.
