Can't find someone to date...

So I am gay and looking to take my sexuality public by having a relationship with another guy. The only problem is i literally don't know another gay guy who goes to my school or lives around me. I feel stuck and really lonely because no one else understands and everyone else is dating and i'm not. I just want that perfect someone like everyone else. Suggestions? Everyone tells me to just wait and it doesn't help any.

Honestly, I think the best way to get a guy would be to come out to a few people. You gotta make it known that you're gay, and while that may be hard, I think it's what you have to do if you want a boyfriend.

If the only reason you want a boyfriend is to come out and because everyone else is doing it, you probably don't really need one in my opinion. You're 14, just starting high school, probably? Relationships aren't that important. Sometimes I want one, but it's probably more important to create lasting friendships in HS and then in college or whatever you're doing beyond, you can look for love.

And as the person above me said, if you really do want a boyfriend for more personal reasons than just getting coming out over with, then come out to a few close friends and maybe they'll help you meet someone. Or someone will find out because they were looking for someone too.
