I know I wont be able to get any proper help here, but a few ideas would be nice. I've got this problem, when i'm in an Aircraft, I get a strong pain in ONE of my ears during the entire flight. The reason that is, is the grommet in one ear is still in there, but not in the other. So the pressure is building up and causing me pain. Does anyone know if I could suffer any damage whatsoever? I just turned down a wonderful trip for my birthday to some great places cause of the problems I get on Aircraft. It's really bothering me, I need to visit my speicialist about it, I know. I've had that second grommet for 7 years and it's only supposed to be there for a year and a half.

You shouldn't really suffer damager per say, I suggest going to the super market and buying a Big League Chew or Double bubble, you want to get a wad of bubble gum not chewing gum, I suggest chewing 2 double bubble at a time it really alleviates the pressure......I suggest asking you doc if your grommet is safe first which it should be
