We've had wars for oil so maybe wars for water will be the next

Oil and fuel price...and also regular prices are going to get increased.

Environmental destruction. Humans think that our resources will last forever, that destroying habitats won't effect them, and that we can continue living as we are currently living. God, why couldn't I have just been born as a Roman...

water is no problem and there are alternatives to oil but food that could be a problem.

Agree about oil disagree about water
We can always breed things (cattle etc) or grow things (wheat etc) to get food or even eat each other if it comes to the worst.
But nothing can happen without water

water can be cleaned and sea water can be changed to drinking water. we can't eat eachother you get ill if you do that and the people, the more houses, less space for food.

i think it's very difficult to make sea water into drinking water, that's why the water we drink doesn't come from the sea and we have droughts.
Given a choice I'd much rather have a supply of water but no food than some food but no water supply

Less resources, environmental problems, animals going extinct.

it's expensive but so is oil and at least water would never run out.

Resources and space issues. Our planet is severely over crowded. We need to do something to move some of the population somewhere else.
And look to finding more reliable sources of food, water, and general resources needed for everyday life.

Water won't be a problem, we could just use the ocean water (by using those machines that take out salt in water).

Population growth. It will be massive unless population control methods are implemented. Therefore it will create food and water shortages.

the nuclear powers are allowed to be nuclear powers because they are stable and don't want war. countries like the USA UK and Russia can have as many nukes as they want because they use them as deterrents where as north korea everyone is trying to disarm them and btw the un or nato or g8 won't fall apart

Um yeah it probably will, have you heard of the league of Nations before? The UN can pretty much become redundant if a member of the Security council blocks any movement. You also need to remember that both Pakistan and India have nuclear weapons. All it takes is a coup or mass uprising then you have a hostile regime with Nuclear weapons. The same could happen in Russia, the world has changed a lot in the last 20 years

guess so but with anti air defenses there is only so much damage you can do to w super power and they will win and India's nukes are TINY

Why do you assume that the UK and US only use/would use nuclear weapons for "good" reasons? Nuclear weapons are a way to annihilate hundreds of thousands of people. Calling them "a deterrent" is incredibly misleading. Having nuclear weapons is an offensive, not defensive move.

well they can stop wars and if there is a real international threat to the UK or USA public they can be taking out fast so yeah they are good

The UN falls apart when they greatly lose their members. So if the UN dwindles down to like less then 30 members, of whom all are countries that have little effect on their own, it will become another alliance. I got the idea from the Fallout games. The UN fell apart due to resource wars. If it is gonna get nuclear, I just wonder if Russia is gonna use their whole arsenal of 10000 warheads which is enough to turn Earth into a lifeless rock. Also the lack of resources means less production, so China might have problems.
