Dreams about killing myself

i have had reoccurring dreams about killing myself... and watching myself die as if i could see it ... the methods are always different but the suicide is always there.... do other people dream about this to???

Oh most certainly. I dreamt about killing myself a lot. Kinda scary and can get intense. But they stopped after awhile once I figured out what they meant. It still happens but not as much as before.

I have those a lot too, although usually there's a good reason for it. One time was because I was the sole survivor of a zombie apocalypse, for example.

I have nightmares every night and some have involved self-harm, killing myself and watching myself die.

I don't think they really mean anything. Have you been thinking about killing yourself in your normal everyday life? Because if so it's not suprising it's manifesting in your dreams too, but it doesn't really mean anything.

Fiction is right, they don't mean anything, at least not always and not for everyone. I'm not an expert in dream analysis, so I could be wrong, but for me they made sense. To kill yourself in your dreams mean you're trying to escape from something from your waking life, or you're feeling guilty about something that you can't get over. It could mean change. Or it could downright mean you're feeling suicidal and so it's manifesting in your dreams. All I can say is don't take a dream literally. It most of the time means something entirely different.

i don't feel suicidal, when i was younger i was but i realised that i couldn't do it so i decided that living was my option :)
