No, that one was not a composite. I guess it was just the way the lighting came out; I had a light box (you know those boxes that light up that doctors put xrays on?) on either sides of the garbage bins and then I bounced a flash at full-power off the ceiling and that is probably why it appears sort of edited/shadowless. Oh and the wall was plain originally; I added the texture in Photoshop.

For the cassette tape one, I had this metal tree decoration thing and I dust pulled out the tape from the cassettes and draped them over it. You could probably do the same thing using any old tree branch.
