Do girls like guys who can actually do stuff for themselves, like work on cars, and stuff like that, or do you prefer this generations version of the 'Swagged-out Teenager'? :what:

Some girls find the swag shit attractive, some don't. It's like anything really, you'll get people that like one thing while others like something else. Don't worry though, a girl will like that if you give it a chance. Not all girls are into that swag trend.

If he isn't dependent on his parents, has skills, doesn't have to borrow money to take me on a date, doesn't spend more time and money on clothes/appearance than me - huge plus

I personally like the idea that i should be able to do everything a guy can do..... but i also don't think i should always need to.. so i ilk guys who can fix cars and stuff.... if the guy looks like he spend more time in the mirror then me haha no way

Ew. I'll gladly take self sufficiency over "swag" any day.

I like guys who can work on cars, who are handy around the house, who treats me with respect, who can make me laugh, levies and t-shirt, and who has money for a simple date.

I absolutely can't stand this "swagged out teenager" crap you talk about. There is no bigger turn off to me, then a guy who goes on and on about having "swag."
The guys I've dated have all been handy, been good with cars, known how to treat a girl with respect, and have proven that chivalry isn't dead.

Personally I hate the dudes that think there all it, I like guys that can do stuff, I suppose, but without thinking there well old...

I like guys who can cook and do all that other stuff like cars. Swag ain't gonna get me now where. I find the term irritating. And people who sag their pants are just not attractive.

No self-respecting girl wants a boyfriend who has no proper skills or achievements to speak of.
If I had a boyfriend, I wouldn't really care what he did in his spare time so long as he wasn't lazing about all day. If he has no real attributes and can't be bothered getting any for his own sake, what would it be like for me when my life is involved with his? Boring and frustrating to say the least.
If I had a boyfriend, he would have to treat me with respect, be capable of intelligent conversation, and possess a sense of humour.
I wouldn't really care how much money he had so long as he wasn't borrowing it left, right, and center. We should just be able to split the cost of dates, after all we would both have enjoyed it, why not both pay?
... Being a good cook wouldn't go too far astray either!

You couldn't have said it better. Not into the swag type either.
