I'm slowly thinking this may apply to me. (& Please hold off on the hormones comments.)
Is it possible for someone to be bisexual, but only have lust for the same sex, and be emotionally & physically connected with the opposite? For example, a guy has lust towards another guy but wouldn't date him, and likes a girl and would date her?

I completely understand what you're saying. I'm the same way. I want to date and have sex with guys, but as far as other girls, it's just sexual attraction. I don't think I could be happy dating, much less committing to a girl.

I don't think you really understand how labels work yet, so I won't tell you that. What I will tell you is that you should get more informed about it so you can come up with a conclusion yourself.

I don't consider myself either. Bisexual isn't really right, but I'm not "curious" so neither is the other.

However, one could consider themselves bi curious I think, if they are just curious about the same sex. It's just that in my case, I'm past the curious phase, so I don't feel bi-curious fits.
