Um, sorry, but I don't think it's that good. 19 is the lowest I've heard from kids I went to school with. 22-26 seems to be about average. Both of the local colleges in my area won't accept you unless you have a 21 (Unless your SAT score makes up for it)
nice

Yeah this ^ I'm pretty sure one my practice act in 8th grade I got a 17 and the highest in the school was a 20 I think. And that was only 8th graders.

16 isn't all that great...
If you plan on retaking it, buy a review book or print some practice tests and time yourself while doing them.
Good luck.

I believe the ACT is scored out of 36 points, so a 16 is really low. According to wikipedia: "A sampling of ACT admissions scores shows that the 75th percentile composite score was 24.1 at public four-year institutions and 25.3 at private four-year institutions." However, it does vary from college to college. I recommend retaking them studying, and I recommend also taking (and studying for) the SAT.

Maybe you want to try the SAT? Some people score better on the SAT than ACT (I for one) and vice versa.
Wonder.

Do colleges even look at SAT scores anymore? They're old.
Anyways, like everyone else said, if you retake it you should study. Some questions are phrased awkwardly just to try to make you mess up. I seriously recommend taking practice ACTs. That's actually more beneficial than studying.

I think yes but it may have changed or may be different for each college
