they need to retake the test every year, but of course they need to be able to drive. my friends grandma uses the parking brake on the freeway sometimes, and sometimes she drives with 2 feet. now THATS dangerous, but to just take away her liscence forever because of something she can't control isnt fair. my grandparents drive perfectly fine for instance

I bet old folks are as safe as teens or cell phone drivers. But I might be wrong.

i dunno, i mean if u pass it once u should keep getting better with experience, thers no need to take it every year for 6 years between 16 and 21... i mean thats never happened before ever... and it seams to be workin fine lol

i think you just leave them cause they been living alive for a long time and most of them have been driving for ages and they have alot of experience plus would you want to be in a 16 year old just passed car test or rather your grandparents car???

Most.
My greatgrandfather was driving till he was 93. But he only went to the store down the street. I think on 5 seperate occations, he forgot to open the garage door and backed right into and through it. And like 3 fender benders with a pole, cement wall, and another car.

they arent all bad at 80 to just have an age at which you cant drive is the most stupid bullshit ever because then your condemning old people into their houses. that would NEVER become a law ever
