Yea pretty sure there's nothing wrong with this after all most guys are too shy at 13 to do much with a girl so it's good guys a little older take an interest in girls that age

That and we tend to prefer a year or two older

Looking for someone mentality closer to equal to us and physically greater than us
How many girls are into boys are shorter/less developed than them (which is why the Bieber thing is odd, girlies than us)

I say it's fine I say at your age it's ok. My philosophy now that I am over 18. As far as sex goes I say 2 years older and 2 years younger.

creepy dating rule: if person is less than (your age)/2+7, don't do it. that's 14.5 for you buddy, stay away and find a girl your age. or wait at least a year
what's wrong with the rest of you the difference between 13 and 15 is huge

I agree with the rule but it more applies to older people than younger - it's just 2 years and at 13 she is probably more mature than he is

The rule is that way specifically because of how wrong it is at younger ages

Wait .... so if ur 13, the youngest u can date is (13/2)+7 = 13.5
But if they're 13.5, the youngest they can date is (13.5/2)+7 = 13.75
So ... if either of u is under 14, it's never ok for u to date? Seems harsh.

It means if you're 13 you can date 13 year olds but 12 is too young to be dating :p
Its just a rule of thumb but it works really well and yes a 15 year old dating a 13 year old is creepy as hell

At that age it's variable, but two years isn't that big a deal
If she was a really young/immature 13 and he was mature 15 it would be - but normal 15 & 13 isn't creepy
I'm 15 and I know lots of 13 (lol and 12) yr olds more developed than me - so some boys my age are going to look dodgy by that standard if with me

Just remember that from 13-15 there is a lot of maturing so it depends are you a "young" 15 is she and "old" 13

I think that it's fine but my based on my brain that puts you in High School and her in middle school? It might make her look good to her friends being known as the girl with a guy in high school. wait -- I'll be in that same situation this fall as Caleb starts High School and I start 8th.

"age doesn't matter if you love someone" > Like you I have a girl that I like very much but her age was only 18 and I am 20 now. When I read the book girlfriendequation.com I found that it is helpful in dating. Check it out my dear. ^_^

The age gap isn't a worry at all, but she is a bit to young i'd say... Should be fine though.

Yeah now its fine but only starts getting tricky when your 16 and shes 14 since anything happen she could get you arrested so you just have to watch out and think before you two do anything

as long as both ppl are mature enough to handle all aspects of a serious relationship i dont think age should matter at all...the only real issue is when one person legallybecomes an adult and the other is still a minor...my current bf is significantly older than me but my parents think he is great so no worries there

It's fine for now, but when you're 18, and she's 16, sex will be illegal, and if you're cought, you could be a registered sex offender. Well that's how it is here in the US. I'm not sure about Australia. Anyways, yeah, the age gap isn't bad at all.

13 - 15 is kind of a big gap, but not too big I guess. My bf is 12 and I'm 13 and even that's a bit of a gap at our age. The only real "problem" with this is, when you're the older one, some people can get the misguided idea that you are taking advantage of the younger one.

age shouldnt matter as long as you both are happy. my boyfriend and I are the same age. we will both be 16 in 2 days. as long as its not like on everybody loves raymond where robert went out with a 19 year old girl and he was 43

That's not a very big age gap, but I suppose it depends on how mature the two of you are. :P

Relationship wise, you're fine. Anything sexual though and I'd be careful- not the age range, but when you turn 16, she'll still be 13 (or 14, depending on your birthdays) and that makes it illegal.

Yeah, so long as the people involved are careful and really care about one another.
It really does vary from situation to situation, I'm ok with any honest relationship.

not at all. I've had girl friends both older and younger by that much. and even bigger gaps on the younger side. Just depends on the person and if they have the personality you are looking for. I don't mind a younger girl if she's mature. People around you may frown upon it as you get older or the gap gets bigger, but thats none of their concern. It's your relationship.

So you're in high school and she is/was in jr high and going into high school now? kinda iffy.
If I had a friend that's a sophmore and he was with a girl in jr. high, I would give him shit about it. But I probably wouldn't say no if I were in your shoes either.

It's not about age, it's about maturity or a mental connection. I'm 15, some of my friends seem like their 17, others act like they're 13.

Legally you can have a 3-4 year age difference in a sexual relationship if your under 18. So your perfectly fine, just don't force her into anything because of what you want, same thing applies for her.
