Bin Laden's burial at sea!According to Islamic Principles!

*According to Islamic rules on burial of deaths,people shall bury the bodies under ground while they are in white cloth.Neither burn them nor leave them nor drown them...
*According to officials,After US army killed Osama Bin Laden,they didn't bury his body,they throw it in the sea and after got questions about why did they do this,they told people it was according to Islamic traditions and rules!
-However Shia muslims do not know bastard(sorry to say)Osama Bin Laden as a muslim,but there is still a great secret about why americans did this and then threw his body in the hands of dark sea...And then they told it was according to Islamic traditions.
What is your opinion about this?Why did they throw his body in the sea?

Well, I am not Islamic so I do not know the answer as to why they believed it was proper for his religion. The explanation that they gave was they only kept his body unburied for a certain period of time, as is proper. I cannot remember the explanation as to why they threw him in the sea.

I believe that the real reason is that if they buried him somebody would either turn his grave into a shrine or take his body out and defile it. Both of these would be politically incorrect and might spark a problem on the global scale. At least if they threw him into the sea, nobody would ever be able to find his body.

plus if you bury him, you will have a chance to recover his remains which could boost morale to al queda and other terrorist sects, and the soldiers were in a hurry to get rid of the body

we couldn't give them the body we would have had to send troops in carrying the body etc and they would have been in real risk. AND WHAT ARE WE MENT TO WALK ON EGG SHELLS?! if we do what they want they will think they are more superior.

I've always been kind of suspicious about bin Laden's death and burial.

No pictures, nothing.

It's weird that it was claimed to be in accordance with Islamic tradition, but actually wasn't. Either they just messed up and didn't understand tradition, or it was an excuse to not show the body.
