Another way to find out is to just visit the site via your mobile device. I come here on occasion via such device and I always get a "You do not have TapaTalk. Do you wish to install it now?" popup.

Also, the mobile theme for VT works quite well, and so you could just use that, instead of buying Tapatalk.
