Without you I feel empty,
Alone and hollow, no purpose,
A body missing its ghost,

Without you my smiles turn to frowns,
My laughter disintegrates into tears,
I hide behind my hood and glasses,
Without you I'm nothing.

Without you my eyes fill with tears,
That stream down my face in a torrent,
A waterfall of missing you, because
Without you I'm nothing.

Without you my days become empty,
My need to please you, striving for love,
Disappears in the blink of an eye,
Without you I'm nothing.

Without you my heart breaks in two,
The halves hitting the ground,
Shattering into a million pieces,
Without you I'm nothing.

Without you I fall apart,
My dreams become impossible,
For you give me strength to try,
Without you I'm nothing.

Without you I'm a bomb,
Ticking away, ready to blow,
All my problems, return to haunt me,
Without you I'm nothing.

Without you my nights become sleepless,
I lay awake thinking of you,
Your ever perfect, ever beautiful face,
Without you I'm nothing.

This poem's because I need you,
To love you and hold you tight,
So remember every word of this,
As you fall asleep tonight.
