Locker room troubles

Did anyone else have problems being out and changing for gym? I know when I came out people would hide from me and start rumors that I was staring at them. Even the teacher would give me dirty looks when I walked in. I'm not the only not straight girl in my gym class and they all were changed every day, but none of them ever were in the locker room. I started hanging out with them because no one else would talk to me and found out they all changed in the bathroom across from the gym. I started changing with them and its awesome. We all stare and no one cares. Anyone else have a situation like this?

No, I'm closeted and nobody thinks I'm gay. I didn't think there was homophobia in my school because there are a lot of gay people in my school and people are cool with them for the most part. One day I was sitting next to 2 guys in gym and I overheard them talking shit about an extremely feminine acting boy in our class. They were saying this faggot is changing with us, thats like me changing in the girls locker room. When he changes, he changes quickly and leaves. Sorry for all my gramatical and spelling errors, I'm typing this on my phone.

This is one of many reasons why I'm not coming out until I'm in college. Even though I'm a pretty withdrawn person, I really enjoy locker room time, because it's all so free spirited.

I was out to most of the girls in my class last year (there was only eight) a few started changing in the shower cubicles instead but most were fine. First week back and new class this year though, so I'll see how that pans out, hopefully won't be too much of a problem there's just one or two girls in my new class that will act stupid about it. A gay guy in my class 'forgot' his sports gear for our first P.E. class so he might be having some problems in the changing room too.

I'm straight and I have to say you have a pretty fucked up school. I mean even the teachers????:eek: But no I don't have the same problem or friend with the same problem. I'm pretty good friends with a gay guy and no one cares if he's gay. There are only the select few that care. The best thing I can say is fuck'em the friend have now nice to you so stay friend with them. People may eventually get over with it.

Back when I was in high school, all the girls stared at each other in the showers, lol. Most of them were straight, some were bi but mostly bi-curious. It wasn't like an awkward thing either... Some would compliment someone else on their breasts, or butt, or whatever. There was a time when rumors got out about me being a lesbian and that made things weird in the showers, but everyone soon forgot about it because it was high school. I'll admit though, I think I had a better time than they did in the showers, lol.... CREEPER ALERT x_x
