It is my popular genre of strategic game.It really teaches me many thing.
Trade politics and also a lot of historical information...
I already own Rome/ Medieval II/ Empire/ Napoleon/Shogun 2 from this series and patiently waiting for release of Rome II!

I love empire total war, I've got to 1841 as Prussia, I'm really looking forward to rome 2 with naval and land battles combined. I need to get a new PC though so I can run it at a decent speed.

Yes...Me too,when i wanted to play shogun 2 fots i got problem because of the RAM...I hope the costs at least get a little decreased and then i can upgrade my PC...
But the Rome II is a great revolution in strategic games!...

Yeah it has more polygons on a single rock than on the faces of the soldiers in Rome 1, I need to get back into Napoleon though. It's got amazing graphics and unit's but it's to limited to me. Thats why I love empire, I had all of America and India as the Great Prussia

I was Ottoman Empire!I was a republic and the flag of country changed to flag of Turkey of today and i had all of the India,2 cities in south America,3 cities in north America and many other regions in Europe,and i was a real great destination for all the trading paths and ports,(I could call myself the Great Trade Guild)
And a funny thing;Britain and France were still enemy of each other and both of them was in good relations with me,I had a city between two of their cities in North America and because both of them granted military access from me,That region became a pass way for Both Englishes and Frenches and i was still taking money from them...

I've played every game in the series except the original Shogun. Out of all those, Medieval II is my favorite, mainly because of the setting.

I can't wait to get my hands on Rome II. It's gonna be great. I just watched the Teutoburg Forest demo, and the battles look even better than they did in Shogun 2. Hopefully they'll show off the gameplay on the campaign map as well.

I always remembered I hated the Holy Roman Empire, seeing as I was always either England or Scotland, and they always got me in bad terms with the Pope. And those bastards would capture a new city as soon as I captured one of there's! Ugh, so frustrating... I think I'm gonna go and start up another campain. See you guys in another month! :P

I downloaded Rome Total War at the start of year from Steam. Haven't played it recently tho.
