Catcher in the Rye

I'm reading this book in my English class, and I was wondering if any of you guys have read this book. If you have, what do you think of it?

I read it in my freshman year. Either I didn't read the while thing (which means it didn't interest me very much) or it didn't a large impression on me. I don't remember much about the book, but I do remember some of the concepts in the book were hard to grasp back then.

I read it last year and though I appreciate it, I didn't think much of it while actually reading it. The repetition got on my nerves real fast. The actual writing style bothered me more than the content.
