View Full Version : Sort of a weird situation...

But I'm sure you guys can sorta relate since I'm sure a lot of you have friends here on this forum. In my spare time the past half a year or so I've been administrating a forum with some friends, I love it and I've been pouring my heart and soul into the website to make it just that much better. Of course though, because friends of friends exist, not only my ex (which I'm completely not over and I've posted about here before) but also her boyfriend have registered and literally any time I see a post from him, it's flirting with her.

It drives me crazy seeing something I've worked so hard on to just house my friggin' ex's relationship right in front of me. Maybe I'm just crazy, but am I the only one that sees disrespect and rudeness in that? Going on your ex's forum KNOWING they aren't over you?

I've also addressed them both privately about the situation, of course the guy continues and my ex just blames it on her friends wanting her to go on. It's the biggest de-motivator ever, I must be the only one on the planet in this situation.

I can't just ban them since well... that'd be really biased and unethical of me but whenever I see posts by them, I literally just feel like punching a pillow, like someone just spit on a painting I made.

So, what should I do?

I know it must be hard having your ex and her boyfriend on your forum. You're probably right it is best not to ban them because you've worked hard on the forum and an unjust ban will just effect the goodwill of everybody else on the forum. I would just add them to your ignore list and avoid what they are saying. Now is a good time to hold your composure and show them that despite the break up you are doing just fine. That's the best way to win and not have a public reaction. Be strong.

Right, I haven't made anything public about it but I have a very good feeling that she's shared the private messages with all her friends (which are also on it). What I find really annoying is that she's telling me to move on when she's the one on my website in the first place.
