He can't be the oldest in history. But that's old, I'd never want to live that long.

Way to look on the bright side there, bub.

I think he's beautiful. And I can't imagine the amount of memories he's had time to create. It's unbelievable.

Can you imagine being born near the end of a century, living through an entire one, & then making it somewhat through the second decade of a THIRD century!?

I've only lived in 2 different centuries so far. And only through 1 decade & partly through 2 others.

Crazy when you think about it.

I was too young to party like it's 1999. Guess I'll have to try and live long enough so that I can party like it's 2099.

He's the oldest male ever to live. A female, Jeanne Calment of France, lived until she was 122 years and 164 days old. She was born in 1875 and died in 1997.

Back on to the man, he has experienced so much. He lived through the depression, both world wars and the cold war. To be quite honest, I don't really want to live as old as he has. 116 years from when I was born would be 2114, yeah, no thanks.

Woah, that is amazing. But in all honesty, I've got to go with @Neptune on this one, I'd rather not live until 2114 / 2115.

I think it would be pretty bad ass to have a grave stone that goes from 1996-2112

Am I the only one?

I think the most impressive part of that video is how social he was! A lot of elderly people tend to be quiet & reserved when they age (that's what I noticed) so it was cool to see him so...alive. Do you get what I mean?

Totally. That attitude is probably one of the reasons why he lived so long.
