Basically for the last 4 months I've had a lot of issues 'down there'. It began with a urinary tract infection. I took antibiotics for it and most of the symptoms went: but a slight urge to urinate remained and my clitoris is incredibly sensative- so much so that just touching it in the slightest way makes me feel as though I desperately need to urinate. About a month and a half later I ha another UTI where I was urinating blood. Again it was treated with antibiotics but some symptoms remained. I had three urine samples taken since this and all showed clear for a urinary tract infection.

I also have severe burning inside me whenever I have sex. I literally can't bear sex anymore. We tried using line in case it was dryness but the addition if something else made it even worse and I had to run to the shower to get it off me. It is so painful and it has been for months.

I've been tested with swabs twice, and a blood test once for all the STIs and all the tests showed clear, and I have only had sex with 1 person for the last at least 2 years.

This is depressing me so much. I feel so alone and I need this sorted. It's effecting my life hugely and I need help :( any suggestions will be appreciated so much.

Hmm sounds like a very nasty infection.. im no doctor (Level 2 first aid) but if it's not a Urinary tract infection or STI's, then it may be something else altogether.

See your doctor about it, let her know whats going on.

You prob did see a Gynecologist right? Also maybe you might need a probe to your bladder, something is up in that area, urine is sterile but can get contaminated easily,

Nope, just my GP but I can't see a gynaecologist unless i'm referred by them. I"ve been to see them again and they think it might be to do with the fact i'm on the implant and the progesterone-only pill causing a lack of oestrogen and therefore issues down there. They've put me on a pill that contains oestrogen and progesterone now so we'll see.

You should probably ask to see a Urologist, or a Gynocologist who has extra training in Female Urology. I've had UTI's and Yeast Infections before, and they went away with medication. This is a bit bizarre. I wouldn't think hormone pills would have any impact in this, since it seems to be a peeing issue first. But those extra hormones can do wacky things. I'd still ask to be referred to a Gyn though. They're more trained for the specifics of problems down there.
