so
i was wondering
what its like to go from not vegetarian to vegetarian
i was raised veggie, so its natural to me.
it seems like the common idea is that its hard, atleast i always hear that from the general population
but my friend just went veggie and he said its easy, and my mom said it was easy for her

so is there anyone here who has become a vegetarian?
what was it like for you

I mean I guess it's pretty easy to be just a vegetarian. All you can't eat is meat. Now I think if you go vegan that's a little harder, because you really have to in the beginning find what the heck you can eat. I'm not a huge meat person so I can go vegetarian if I want to, but honestly I can live without it.

I became a vegetarian for a week. QQ

But hopefully, I can continue this for another week, too.

Yes. It was very easy for me up until I found out about rennet in cheese. When I realized that I pretty much couldn't eat cheese unless I buy a specific brand to eat at home, I decided to go vegan. The transition from vegetarian to vegan was easier for me because now I know what not to eat as a vegan, all of the undercover ingredient names, etc.

Being vegan makes me feel good and it makes me actually watch what I eat so I've been eating very healthy too. Not to mention all the weight I lost just by dropping dairy!

It's easy if you never really like meat in the first place, I think. But if you're like me, absolutely loving a piece of pork, chicken, beef etc, it will be extremely hard to go vegetarian. Personally I could and WOULD never go down that path because I love meat way too much.

It's quite easy for me, because although I'm a meat eater I love vegetables and vegi foods such as quorn etc.

It'd be hard for me. Bacon is absolutely great and my mom loves making meat.
I may try going vegetarian this week though, just for the heck of it.

It would be hard for me. I tried before and I couldn't give up chicken or tacos haha. Or seafood. I could give up red meat no problem (As long as I could have chicken fajitas in pace of tacos :P) But I couldn't be a full on vegetarian. O

I attempted successfully to be vegetarian over the summer for two months, but I became anemic since the rest of my family stayed non-vegetarian, and there wasn't much to eat for a balanced diet.

I'm a meat eater, almost nothing better than a medium-rare T-Bone Steak IMO. And some vegetables and I do not agree. Like they make me sick and some I cannot even keep in my mouth very long before feeling like I want to throw up.

I can eat only certain veggies. But not all of them since some make me sick.

Meat is my one way of taking in the proteins that I need.

I haven't eaten a single meat and poultry for over a month now.

Honestly, I don't miss it.
