I can confidently say that this rule will not be changing if I have anything to do with it. A lot of people use the system just to abuse it. 100 posts is hardly anything and still doesn't weed out most of the bad seeds, maybe it should be raised? :P

I'm actually seriously for it being raised! Genuine members wouldn't be dettered by it and also anything following the rules can be said by vm, like 150 posts or something would be good. It would also give mods more of an idea whT the person is like if they see the kind of things people are discussing by vm

This I think it should be raised too. Maybe 150 or 175 if they were truly a good member it wouldn't take that long it took me less that 2 days if I remember to hit 100.

I think it should stay at 100. Using myself as an example, I joined almost four years ago, yet I don't even have 1000 posts. It probably took me a week just to get to 50! I realize most people post more than me, but even 150 seems way too high for a feature most forums offer right when you join. 100 is fine where it's at.

I like 200 because that's when most restrictions come off anyways! Plus I don't think it would hurt to do another 200 posts. By then you'll be use to the site and make some friends you can pm.

I'd support it being raised, actually. Really, 100 posts is quite easy to rack up. It's not much work to prove that you're capable of using the PM system without abusing it.

Fuck it. My vote is 250. Lately I've been seeing some people with their post count at 100-125 saying some dumb stuff. Hell, when I had that post count I had one red box for my rep. (I am not getting into any sort of rep discussion!)

Like Mike said the number isn't really high I mean 100 posts is doable within even a few hours depending on where you post.

Even though I have less than 100 already, I'm all for it being raised. It's not hard to hit 100 posts in a day if you know where to post.
