Well, love comes when love comes. Much like Muni bus operators, they move on their own watch. My parents are 43 (they met when they were 17/18), but they're divorced, so while maybe they thought love happened, it was fake.
But that's my interpretation of "love", it's what you think love is. But love doesn't stick to a printed schedule, and if you force love upon you, chances are it's going to bite you in the ass.

When you get your first love? I realized how much my girlfriend actually meant to me and how much I truly loved her when I saw a couple in the exact same situation we were in. And also when I nearly lost her to a suicide attempt. Strange how you realize how much you like/love something/someone when it/they are nearly gone.

And what do you do? Move in for a kiss. Show how much that person means to you. And no, sex is not a prerequisite for two people to show how much they love eachother, but I do agree that it does strengthen the couple's spiritual bond.

I haven't had my first love yet, I think I am yet too immature to feel love at this point, it will eventually strike, yes, but not now when my feelings are at their lowest point.
