Old Usernames

This is just a shoot in the dark and I'm not sure if there already is something like this. But anyway is it possible to implement something that allows you to see a Users previous name? Something like Steam's "See Previous Aliases" Or something along the line of that.

This would be extremely helpful; Yesterday I went in a chat room with Chanandler Bong, and she was telling me I was in a chat room with her the day before, but I didn't recall. I later found out that she had changed her name from The Pretender making me very confused. People with changing names these days... :P

Well, I know that if you hover over someone who recently changed their name, it'll tell you. But honestly I think there could be a massive security flaw in this, in which someone could have had a username that had been found by someone externally and changed to protect their identity.

These are correct, however it only works for the last username they've had.


I don't really think this is needed, i mean there's theoretically a thread to post in if you change your username. But even if that person didn't post, if you talked to them, you'd eventually realize or they'd tell you or whatnot. But yeah, if you want to know what their previous username was, just hover over their username.

Seeing how you can only change your username once every six months - even if you are just semi active, it shouldn't be too difficult to keep up with. There isn't more needed than remembering that you can hover over the username.
