Help on Circumcision

Hi!

I really need help on circumcision. I was circumcised around six years ago. Back then, I did not have any idea on circumcision and that there are many styles and results to it. I was actually circumcised in the Philippines since I was going to school there. The style was like a dorsal slit technique, I suppose. ( I am not so sure.. I would want to post a picture but I don't think its allowed. ) Since I was a young kid, I had a really long foreskin(probably around 1.5 to 2 inches). It was not cut during the circumcision, only an incision was made on top and on the sides. All the foreskin now is like hanging on the underside of my penis. I am 16 years old now. I was planning of having my circumcision redone or probably restoring my foreskin and then have the circumcision redone. I do not know who to ask or when to ask anyone and so on. Do any of you have advice?

I'm uncut. But I think your decision is quite good to do the circumcision one more time, especially if it looks and feels not good and uncomfortable. Just consult it with your parents or doctor so you get the best decision

What you're describing sounds really unusual, and it almost sounds like you still have part of your foreskin attached to your penis. When it comes to foreskin restoration, I suppose that is possible if you have enough skin down there, but the process is expensive and takes time. Having a circumcision sounds like it would be the easiest in your case since it sounds like your skin is cut up anyway. If you are loosely circumcised, then you can still have access to loose skin which can mimick a foreskin but not totally wrap around your penis head so that you don't have to worry about cleaning and junk building up down there.

In the end of the day, the only person who can give you the best advice is a urologist which is a doctor that specializes in dicks. Because your situation sounds really unusual I think the urologist is the only person who can look at your dick and tell you what your options are. Since posting pictures of your penis would be against the rules on here none of us can give you good advice, and a doctor is your best bet. I would talk to your parents and be honest with them about your problems down there. Chances are a doctor can fix whatever problems you have and get your penis looking and working the way you want it to be.

I've read about this, phillipino circumcisions are not done properly because of it

I'm not sure if you can restore your foreskin in it's current state because the skin is really uneven, it wouldn't turn out well

Your options are probably going to be getting a full circumcision and sticking with that or getting recut and then trying to restore but you should inquire with your doctor who will refer you to a urologist for an expert opinion

I was circumcised at 13 and mine looks just like my friends who were cut when they were born. I think you should see a doctor and have the foreskin removed.
