I'm 17 and my period has never been regular.
I got it when I was 11, and I've gone as long as two months without a period.
It's gotten worse since I started psych medication and can jump between months.
My doctor wants me to get on birth control but I really don't want to because it sounds like a pain and I don't want to see a gynecologist because I have this irrational fear that their gonna go straight for Australia, even though I'm not there for any reason than medication.
I'm not sexually active and don't plan on it until after I'm 18 so I have plenty of time, my aunt scared me out of wanting to go on birth control by saying her sister almost died from being on it since she was 13 -.-'
Anyway, I'm getting off point.
What are natural ways to regulate my period, so that I don't have to jump onto birth control without thinking about it..

I don't know of any effective 'natural' ways to regulate it other than your hormone cycles balancing.
my advice would be to go to the gynecologist.
even though yes, she'll will want to check you down there (which happened to me when i wanted the pill, but an exam is inevitable at some point in your life), and I understand that its scary, but she's a professional, only has your best health in mind, respects your body and privacy, and won't prescribe you something that will do more harm than help.
you'll get the opportunity to ask an actual expert about any 'natural' methods that exist, and she will still take any of your thoughts and concerns into consideration when deciding what your best personal option is, as well as considering all the risks and side effects of everything like your aunt was worried about.
getting checked won't force you to take her advice, but you'll learn options and information that will help you make a more informed decision about what you want, so whatever you decide you know is the best decision.
On top of that, the gynecologist will also be able to check for other possible reasons for your symptoms (not just irregularity), so she'll find out if something else might be causing your problem that you didn't think of.
hope that all helps ease your concerns, sorry if it got confusing. Good luck:)

talk to your doctor, it's the best way to get an expert opinion that with work for your individual situation. But I love being on birth control for that very reason. I know exactly when it's coming and it eliminates my cramps. Win-win if you ask me

the best thing imo for a doctor to do is prescribe norethisterone based tablets (they force a period) and after a few good months, it can change the brain chemistry to regulate a period.

A daily pill or long lasting implant or injection that release hormones that don't let you get pregnant - so safe to do it without condoms (apart from disease)
