I am not completely sure if this is in the right section, I apologize if it is not.
So, I usually am a decently talkative person if I get to trust who I am talking to, the thing is, when my friends tell me "theres your crush, go talk to her" my mind goes absolutely blank, my brain fries, my memory is wiped, and I have no idea what to say, same with Facebook, all I can ask her is about homework. So I ask you people, what do you regularly say or ask to start or keep up a conversation with your crush?

Lol! You just described my exact situation!! I have no problem talking to anyone, but when it comes to my crush, I freeze and my mind goes blank.
Talk to her about recent events or something you have in common: what you or her did on spring break, how you spent your weekend, music, your favorite store, any classes you have together, a new movie. If you have to, memorize 3 topics you can talk to her about. If conversation ever starts to get stale, switch to one of those topics

You just described pretty much everyone with their crush; definitely me.
It's the adrenaline. You get nervous.
With my crush:
Me: Hey!
Him: Uhh, hi?
Me: So when are you starting math class?/How was the SAT?/When is _____? (even if I already know it)/Did you hear _______?
Him: *answers simply and walks off*
And this is the guy I want to be with... *sigh*...

I became more talkative with mine, ask her about something that happened in school. Ask her what she does in her free time. By a twist of fate, me and my crush sit together on one class we have every tuesday and thursday, and it is all the way back where the teacher cannot seeus talking. Ask her some random stuff also, it will lead to a bigger conversation.

Ask her how her day went. Does she have any plans for the upcoming weeks? Does she have siblings? Pets? What kind of books does she like reading (or video games)? Get to know her and once you both open up things will be so much better
