What was the first thing you noticed when you found out your voice was dropping?

Voice squeaked and changed pitch at awkward times while I was speaking. Mine was pretty awkward since my voice broke way, way after many other people's did, so it was more like "Hooray, look who's voice is finally breaking."

Mine broke quite early. It was annoying as the pitch was all over the place when I was speaking, though that is quite normal. It did settle down eventually.

Mine would start squeaking and cutting out.

I just kind of croaked and squeaked a bit for a while then it seemed to settle and then started pitch varying I was about 10 when puberty started so it was okay - just a bit embarresing - it happens its sucha complicated process - your vocal chords thicken and your head get bigger - that all effects the pitch
