Who am I?

I honestly don't know anymore. I feel like 2 different people trying to live in one body. There's a dominant person that usually has controle. That person is angry, depressed, broken, but still has hope and dreams. She crys a lot and wants to die, yet has a promise to keep, that she will live. She loves too much and too hard and always gets herself hurt. she hates being outside and almost never leaves the house willingly. She controles the my body almost always. I call her Jade.

But, in certain times, someone else is there. Like tonight. This girl only wants to be free. Its about 70 degrees and windy at 11pm. She wants to go just run outside in the wind. The bugs are calling her and she cant think about anything else other than being outside. She doesnt care about anything at all. She loves everyone and everything, but none more than another. I call her Lyric.

Honestly I dont feel like it's just mood swings or spring fever, there's 2 minds in one body, but they're never present at the same time. When it's Jade, Lyric doesn't exist and vice versa. What is this? Is it possible to have 2 different minds in one body? Or am I just crazy?

Yes, it is possible to have two different minds in one body; no, you aren't crazy. You may have dissociative identity disorder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissociative_identity_disorder), though this is just a guess. You should be fine unless it begins to cause you distress, at which point you should seek the help of a licensed therapist.
