I wear Under Armour comp shorts. They're relatively comfy, but the sqyyeze my junk!! That's will all compression shorts though...

Yea, I use compression shorts for running, they really help keep you from getting thigh cramps and fatigue. I would get your regular size. They might feel small at first, but go get a bigger size, they won't compress properly

I wear compression shorts almost everyday. They are very comfortable and I wear them for all sports that I play. I wear Nike Combats and Jordan compression shorts.

Running I think is optional. For sports I would say they do their job. Nike or UA.
