This might be a weird question but how do you fix what seem to be like permanently cracked toe nails? I mostly wear shoes and don't get them ever pedicured or anything but wanted to wear more sandals this summer and so I want to get them fixed maybe before summer somehow?

Advice?

Advice?

There can be a variety of causes for it including injuries or a lack of certain vitamins, and only a doctor or podiatrist could tell you for sure, but the most common and likely reason is a mild fungal infection of the nail. It sounds unpleasant but its actually easily cured and a trip to a pharmacy should help, they can advise you on various creams to cure it.

Disclaimer: haven't had it myself but i know someone who has and the internets seem to agree.

Got Milk?

Toe nail grow slower than finger nails so the crack won't get repaired by then, just put a bandage on top of it to hide it,

Without actually seeing your feet it is kind of hard to give you the best advice because foot problems can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. (If you are thinking about uploading a photograph a picture of your problem, then you should talk to a mod first to see if that is all right).

If your nails are discoloured and are really brittle, then you definitely need to run over to a podiatrist because there is a larger problem going on requiring prescription medication. However, if your nails have a minor problem, then I would suggest you go to one of those nail spas. Those places do a great job cleaning up feet, and most of them are in the $20-$25 range. While folks who work there are not medical staff by any stretch of the imagination they probably could tell you whether your issue is bad enough to see a doctor.

Go see a doctor, he/she will probably remove the toenail as it will simply grow back :)
