A major explosion occurred near Waco at a fertilizer plant just a couple of hours ago...Potentially 100+ injuries, and I believe the fire has spread to nearby areas. Cause unknown.
Not all news sites are reporting on it yet - it just happened not that long ago.

HOLY EFF.

"Ashes to ashes... dust to dust... let this be a reminder to everyone that the further we push for industrializing the world... the more danger waits to strike..."
HOLY SHIT. HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
...It's near Waco...Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Waco siege...Boston bombing...
Please be an accident.
Edit again: Sorry, I keep editing. This is so scary. The town is evacuating because of the poisonous gas. And tomorrow's the anniversary of Waco. This is all too coincidental for me.

Waco, Texas. Home of Baylor university, about 30 minutes away from Killeen and Fort Hood, about an hour and half away from Austin, Texas.

There are already two deaths being reported and some emergency personnel person estimate deaths might reach 60-70 :(

Seismograph about 400 miles away registered the blast. And holy Shit if you see some of the pictures being posted on Twitter it formed a semi-mushroom cloud when it happened. Injuries in the 100's+.

Geez.
No, they said that there was a building fire, and it spread to the chemical tanks. I think it was a reaction with water and ammonium that made the explosion. This was even worse! In Boston, 3 people died in a tight populated area. In West, TX; It looks very spread out and rural, 4 blocks of homes were leveled to the ground, wiped out and 60-70 deaths. Hundreds more effected and hospitalized!!! My heart goes out to all in that area. I cant imagine the horror in such a small town. Only 2,500 or so people. XOXO

I saw this video a few hours ago and my first thought was "DAYUM!" It was caused by the fertilizer on fire that then caused a massive explosion. Now the school nearby is on fire too (or was earlier.) I feel bad for the people inside and the little girl in the car because she has temp. hearing loss now.

Excuse my French, but, this week hasn't been too good. One of my friend's dad was injured in the West explosion last night.

I don't know if the mods would allow me to embed something like this, so click on the link if you want. It's pretty good quality footage of the explosion and the news story that appeared on TV.
