This has been brought up many times in the past, and turned down each time. It's likely the forum would receive little traffic, so there really is no need for one. If you'd like, you can apply for a diary (when you're eligible) that focusses on animals. There was one like that in the past, but it too became quite inactive, so it was removed.

Oh, I was just thinking about this, lol. It would be nice to discuss animals and ask questions, etc.

There are also usergroup focused on different pets. (Click! (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/group.php?groupid=114)) It, unfortunately, is very inactive. However, if many posts are made, it may become more popular.
