For a while now, I have started to notice that those that I thought were my true friends have slowly tried to let the fact that I am depressed slide and pretend its not there. When I'm not happy a lot of them seem to get an attitude with me and so I've gotten into the habit of just being "happy." Also, before this I still had noone to go to about me um cutting and stuff because they would'nt try to help they would just get angry and yell at me about it. So now I've gotten to where I'm not talking to anyone of them about my problems or anything that is going on.Some try to talk to me others tell me they are my bestfriends and such but if they can't be here for me through any of the tough times then they aren't right?

It seems to me those people aren't true friends because I know for a fact the true friends that care for you and want the best in your life, would concerned with your struggles and try to help you with them by supporting you.

It's possible they don't know what to say. And let's be fair, to their defense, no one wants a friend who's miserable all the time - whether you can help it or not. Faking 'being happy' is not the way to go - getting proper treatment for your depression is.
I believe that your friends do care, because I've been in a similar boat - people only yelled at me and they didn't want to be around me because I was sad and upset, because when that's the case, you end up bringing everyone else down, and it's not fun. The key is getting better. It's hard, but it's important, and it will make you feel 20x better.
I think you should talk to your friends, and let them know that you want/need support from them, but this is something you can't help and that you're working to get better. A majority of teenagers don't understand c/sh, depression, etc unless they've gone through it themselves, so I think it's likely they just don't understand what you're going through, and they don't know what to say.
Feel free to drop me a PM if you ever need someone. :)
