Are any of your schools doing something with the Day of Silence? Our GSTA club is at my school. Since were on vacation on the official day were doing it in May. Kids that sign up will stay quiet the while day, unless your asked a question from a teacher. The next day were going to get together and have a feast to talk about the day before and talk about anything. Going to be great!

My school does this, and I always participated. It's a nice event. It's sad it has to take place, but it is interesting to see who takes part.

I believe this is the first year my school's GSA is actually participating. I've done it the past 3 years without hearing any type of announcement about it.
The best part is that the teachers in my school don't know that you're supposed to speak if they ask a question, so you can get out of making a fool out of yourself when you don't know the answer.

My school doesn't do this actually which sucks, but me and a couple of friends stay quiet for the whole day just so we could show respect to the kids that don't get their voice heard. But it's an overall great cause and I hope you, your friends, and school have fun taking part in such a great movement!

My school doesn't give a fluck, and probably tries to avoid things like this. Shame, really.

If I did this I'm not sure it would be any different for me than any other day.
