Hey all,

This is Ally and I have a friend who's been abused by her dad for many years and when she finally got courage and report him, her mom kicked her out of the house. Imagine a 16y old girl to be left without a roof over her head. Me and my friend try to help her as much as we can, but lately she started to talk about suicide. What should I do?
P.S. If anyone wants to help her, I've set up a donor page to help Britney with her rent. Any help would be appreciated. Or, at least a good advice on this forum.
Thanks!

If she got kicked out by her mother, the law should be on her side. Especially if it was for reporting her step-father. She should have gone into custody of the government if she was abused.

But why is the court pitting against her? She has done nothing wrong, that I know of.

You need to go get her, have her over, and just listen, let her pour out all her emotions, It makes them feel so much better, And if she starts to talk shit about her dad after a good cry then join in, try to make it funny because if you get her In a better mood chances are she'll see life is worth it, Just let her know your there for her, ask your parents if she could spend the night every once in a while

But keep your promises and remind her your always there for her, it will make her feel worth something

And if you have the courage talk to her mom, over the phone or in person
Because it sounds like her moms either too scared to get out of the relationship or her moms abusive too

Best of luck, Your friend will be ok!
