Im sure its been suggested before but maybe a like and dislike thing could be implemented onto posts because often i will agree and like what someone posted and dont want to spam and be like thats great idea or something ahaa

We just got rid of the rep system which was a bust. We're not gonna add a similar system at the moment. If you like a post someone makes, tell them personally. This is a bad idea for the same reason the rep system was.
(this thread/page is pretty good at explaining it all) (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=172215&page=3)

Another system like reputation would only cause trouble. Especially since most people are still a little raw after the removal of the reputation system like Val pointed out.

The rep system was shit. What makes you think this will be less shit?

Because I mean maybe not a dislike button but a like button because when someone has a great post you can show that without spamming where they posted or maybe a percentage system so if you agree you can rate it a percentage and the answers percentage will show on the answers

I only agree with your logic of "not spamming." We've gotten on user's asses for saying things like "This" or "Great Post" or something similar. While the rep system had it's flaws, it helped avoid this.
Also, can we all stop complaining about the rep system as much as you do? First of all, almost everyone on this site now will immediately shoot down a suggestion if it brushes up against the system's intent. Also, you all have made it sound like it seriously ruined the site. I don't mean put a bad mark on it (which it kinda did), but you people talk about it like it was the fucking plague. Get your priorities right. There have been worse things that happen to this site than the rep system. Then again, it's a site of teenagers where "reputation is everything" for us.

It's been gone for like two weeks, let's just go with the flow for a little bit and play it by ear. We don't need to rush into anything, that's how rash decisions are made.
