Arrival/Departure Section

While we already have the place for new people to be welcomed (arrival section) why not make it so people taking a break or retiring can post? You can call it Arrivals and Departures... It let's people know whos leaving and arriving! Well it's just an idea... Feedback?

Nah, those departure threads can go in The White Padded Room (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17). There aren't enough people leaving to have a whole section for it. It's just a couple threads a month - it'd be a pretty bare forum. I think we're fine putting them in TWPR, and keeping introductions the way they are.

No thanks. Not a whole lot of people leave. Val's right. The departure threads are already good in TWPR. As for arrival threads, the introduction forum is the place for those.

An entire section for leaving would be unused or you'd get people using it too often or for people who're leaving for like two days etc. If we combined the Introduction section and Leaving section, it would work but it would look quite clustered and people's leaving threads would probably be missed because so many threads get posted for introductions alone.

TWPR is perfect for leaving :)
